Regularization Pathways: Social, Labor, Family, and Training Arraigo

Living in an irregular situation generates labor defenselessness and fear of an expulsion order. The Immigration Regulations provide exceptional pathways to regularize your status based on your ties in the country. At C&Co. Legal, we study your history, gather proofs of permanence, and process your Arraigo file so you can finally get your residence and work permit.

Strategies to get out of irregularity

1. Social Arraigo (3 Years of Permanence)

We process the most common route. We request the social integration report from your Town Hall, verify the suitability of the job pre-contract offered by the company, and build the file proving your 3 uninterrupted years in Spain.

2. Training Arraigo (2 Years of Permanence)

We take advantage of the latest legal reform to get your papers if you have been in Spain for 2 years. We enroll you in regulated training to obtain a 1-year residence, a bridge to your final work permit.

3. Family and Labor Arraigo

We manage your papers directly if you are the father/mother of a Spanish minor, child of an original Spaniard (Family Arraigo), or if you have been in Spain for 2 years and can prove you worked irregularly for 6 months (Labor Arraigo).

Want to get your papers?

Getting out of irregularity is possible if you have the right strategy. We analyze your time in Spain, your ties, and documents to apply for the correct arraigo right the first time.

Legal questions about regularization and arraigo.

Key answers regarding necessary years of permanence, required contract types, criminal records, and the new training arraigo.

To apply for Social Arraigo, it is essential to prove continuous permanence in Spain for a minimum of 3 years. Historical census registration is the star proof, but medical consultations, money remittances, or continuous transport passes also count.

It is a recent pathway that allows you to regularize your status if you have been irregularly in Spain for 2 years. You are granted a 12-month residence if you commit to taking a regulated training course. Once the course is passed and with a job offer in that sector, it becomes a residence and work permit.

Generally yes. You need a guaranteed pre-contract of at least 30 hours per week paying the Minimum Interprofessional Wage (SMI). However, there is an exception: if you prove sufficient own economic means or strong family ties, you can apply for social arraigo with contract exemption.

Having criminal records in Spain or your country of origin is a cause for direct denial for any type of arraigo. Before applying for regularization, it is a critical step to initiate the cancellation of your police and criminal records with our legal help.
